I was curious to know what the roadmap plans are for IOMS to work with SharePoint online? Our SharePoint team plans to move to the cloud and we need to know these details so we can plan what we need to do for IOMS.

Hey all,
Struggling a bit with a customer requirement for a "road map" type chart. See attachment for customer mockup. To keep this short, there's a source system (left hand of chart), target system (region color on right) and a date of transition between the two (migration date which the X Axis and value within the bar).
The data would look something like this (in simplest form, with some other supporting attributes)

Having a difficult time getting the time dimension and label onto the chart, as we aren't dealing with measures here. I've also tried converting the MigrationDate to a "days between" value of 2 dates (beginning of year and the migration date) so I'd get something like 365, but then I lose the date dimension and get number of days in the X axis. There will also be some supporting data around the data set which will need to be selected on in order to to present a subset of the information. I've tried other tools (Dashboards, Crystal) but I run into a similar issue. I think the tools are struggling with the fact that the date isn't a measure and the multiple dimensions of data.
The next step I was going to take was to try to create a static timeline at the bottom, maybe with an input control adjustable "Start Date" - this may allow me to create static labels below the chart based on the days between measure. Not sure if that may be simpler by overlaying 2 charts, but that's never a good solution either.
Trying to think a bit outside the box on how to accomplish this or something similar...any insights? Not sure if custom javascript charts would be an option...would probably need something exactly like this that fits the bill. Don't think we have the correct resources to create our own.
Or maybe another visualization of the same data....
We now have zero authorization errors and all the publishing users are admins on the system but we still get the same error as before.

We are running into a similar problem. This is happening intermittently.
When I try to connect from Information Design tool, I get this below error.
I see same WSAETIMEDOUT error even from the Roles tab in Authentication->SAP area in CMC. Our Entitlement users are intact and nothing changed either on BOBJ or BW systems. After 2-3 tries it starts to work. But after a few minutes I again see this error. Please advise. Thank you very much.

Today I created a LCMBIAR after getting the Success message, I just edit the promoted lcmbiar from CMC by clicking the Manage Dependences.
From there I saw some folders which is not selected by me and which is not create anywhere in the CMC or Business View Manager. for the reference I have attached the screenshot.
Please Kindly help me to sort out this issue.

I created a characteristic without master data and text for recording comments in my IP input-ready query. I can flexibly change this Characteristic value by BEx Analyzer. But I am not allowed to change it in Analysis Office. My clients only do planning by AO. So is there anyone have solution on this?

I am doing 12 month rolling.
current month - 3 to current month + 9.
However, my formula for current month + 9 only gives current month + 3.
(the formula attached as image)
And I dont know how to make a formula to pull data from start month to end month.
I have a variable called start month, (current month - 3)
another variable called end month, (current month + 3)
I need a variable called rolling month to pull the data between start and end month.

I created a characteristic without master data and text. This characteristic is used to store comments during planning. I can use BEx Analyzer write free text into this characteristic by IP(Integrated Planning). But I can't do this in Analysis Office. Is there anyone know how I can do this in AO?
And I'm using BW7.0, AO 1.4.

I have a question regarding this. When you say the following:

I understand that desired result is that the User Authorizations from the SAP BW side will take effect on the BOE side when reports are executed.
What was the undertaking to achieve successful restriction on certain reports or certain Data? Did you utilize regular SAP Users and Roles that restrict table access by something like S_TABU_DIS or something else?
