Hi All,
I am getting the same error when OLAP Connection type changed to SSO.
It works fine with Pre-defined Type and we have successfully configured AD SSO.
Please let me know any solution.
Thanks,
Kris

HI All,
We are using SAP BO Platform 4.0 SP01 and SAP BW 7.1 and developed few BO WEBI reports on BEX Queries . I want to configure SSO (SINGLE SIGN ON) to enable analysis authorizations of BW. I did all the following steps, but getting OLAP Error when we try to execute query without BO Administrator role.
The same settings are done in SAP BO 4.0 SP06 and SSO is working fine and getting the data as per the security given in BW.
Please suggest me if I am missing anything.
Thanks,
Joseph
Hi Joseph,
Can you share the error / output details with screen shot please?

Mayank

Hi everybody!
I had the same issue, but in my case, i forgot to set the profile parameter login/accept_sso2_ticket=1.
After that the connection works fine!
Michael,
Did you find the resolutions on the issue you are having ?
We had the similar issue:
one of our LOB User has a report with about 16+ tabs and the report is displayed quickly in few seconds.
But when we try to export the report to the Excel (in users Desktop), it gives "Internal Error: Missing sEntry Parameter (Error: INF)" Error after 10 min.
If the same report is sheduled to run in excel it run fine.
Any Idea? Seems like it is the simliar issue you had and if you have solutions for this, please share !!!
We are in BO 4.1 Version.
Thx
My Issue Got solved. When we have given full Authorization to connector.
I don't think that is a great work around... it forces me to embed a username and password in the opendocument URL - this doesn't give me any security control over who see's what report(s)
When you are defining Enterprise System using Content Administration Workbench, you would have imported the Active Roles. The Users who have assigned to that Role only can access the Crystal Report's.
I am not an Embedded Analytic's expert still I didn't give up.
Thanks.
Hello All,
Recently received a requirement for a "report" which to me initially did not look like a report, but rather a model of an organization chart/tree. I am trying to figure out if something like this is possible to do in any of the BOBJ tools (WEBI/Crystal/Dashboards). The Level0, Level1 and Level2 objects are all dynamic and there would be multiple Overall Processes - Level 0s (let's say 15). Each process is then broken down into the respective Level1 and then further into Level 2. All these levels are dynamic (there could be 2 level1s, 5, etc) and would come from a database (I'm not sure exactly what the data structure would look like, but it can be modeled specifically for this reason). I see it as a type of hierarchy (but vertical) , but I am having trouble reproducing it in WEBI / Crystal. I tried a CrossTable report in WEBI, and it almost gets me there but it shows all the Level 2s for each level 1 - can't do that type of breakdown where it compresses the rows dynamically. What it looks like we are trying to do here is create a horizontal table for Level 0 and Level 1, but then a vertical table for Level 2. I'm just looking for any ideas on how this may be possible as this is not your typical report.
Is SAP your datasource?
Have you looked at Lumira Storyboard capabilities? Go to saplumira.com or look at the tutorials at Official Product Tutorials – SAP Lumira
At this point, not sure exactly what my datasource will be. But the data may be able to be extracted into BW and modeled accordingly.
It looks like an OLAP cube. I wonder if SAP BusinessObjects Analysis edition, for OLAP would work?
Another idea - you might be able to use Lumira to replace the shapes - see this video:
Hi All,
We have created additional roles in BW system. But these roles are not updated in BOBJ system(BI 4.0). I am not able to see these roles in SAP Authentication when we update the user option too. Any solution for this?
Regards,
Krishna.K
are users assigned to those roles in BW?
Thanks for the reply victor,
Users are not yet assigned to these roles. But, it should display in the left hand side while importing?
So, Is this because of no users in these roles?
Regards,
Krishna.K
Yes, this is the reason why you are not seeing the roles. You will need to assign at least 1 user, afterwards you will see that role in the CMC.
Okay Victor,
Will check this with Basis team. Thanks again for the info.

Krishna.K
HI,
Roles need to assign to user, then only you can able to see and also my advise is please check with Basis people.
