I am not sure this scenario is supported if your Oracle table is outside of ECC. Why not add the desired table (assuming your Oracle table is in ERP/ECC) to your InfoSet and do the join back in ECC?

Yes, the Oracle table is outside of ECC box. And this scenario works well in XI R2 box where both ECC Infoset and Oracle Tables are joined in Crystal Report level.
